ABOUT SABEA

Founded in 1982, SABEA is committed to providing professional development opportunities for adult educators across Saskatchewan. Our members deliver Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs in both urban and rural areas, equipping adults who have not completed high school with high-quality education that opens doors to further training, employment, and personal growth.

SABEA provides professional development opportunities for adult basic education (ABE) instructors across Saskatchewan. By keeping educators current with best practices, emerging knowledge, and innovative technologies, SABEA enhances the quality of ABE instruction. We are committed to fostering connections and support within the broader community, including shared stakeholders, employers, colleges, and the public.

SABEA is committed to promoting the image of basic education in Saskatchewan through professional development workshops, social media, and its annual conference. By leveraging these initiatives, SABEA strives to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of education across the province.
